Why Apologetics can help You?

I did not grow up in a Christian home. When I did decide to follow Jesus and become a Christian, I decided to tell my family. While I knew at the Bible satisfied my heart and was real. I was defenseless against the comments my Dad made. He asserted that the Bible could not be trusted, because it was written hundreds of years after Jesus.

This was in 1986. I did not know what Apologetics was but I found out about a man who had a bad Childhood. You see Josh McDowell was the son of the town drunk, making him no fan of God. After meeting some Christians he set out to travel the world to prove Christianity and the Bible were false. To his surprise he realized the evidence supported the trustworthiness of the Bible and the claim that Jesus rose from the Dead. He ended up gathering all the research in a book called Evidence that Demands a Verdict. This research transformed him and he has been sharing the Good News with the world for the last 60+ years.

For me Josh’s book was like a security blanket. Even if at that point I did not understand all the evidence, it helped me knowing that there was someone who did. That is what I want to give you by building this website. The security of knowing our faith is being strongly defended! If you want learn from some of the best I am trying to gather them here.
